We keep this simple because our approach is simple: the app collects nothing, and we only ever store the contact details you choose to give us.

1. Who we are

Roman Empire Daily ("we," "us," "our") is a product of MJM Design. This policy explains what information we collect across our website (romanempiredaily.com), our iOS app, and how we use it.

2. The iOS app

The Roman Empire Daily app is privacy-first by design:

  • No account. You don't sign in, and we don't create a profile for you.
  • No tracking. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • No data collection. The app does not transmit personal information to us. Your saved favorites and settings stay on your device.

The daily facts and widget content are bundled with the app or delivered as standard content; using them does not require us to collect data about you.

3. The website & waitlist

When you contact us on our website, we collect the email address you submit, along with the date/time and the IP address of the request (used to prevent abuse). We use this solely to notify you about the launch of the product or service you asked about, and we store it securely, not in any publicly accessible location.

Our website is served through Cloudflare, which may process limited technical request data (such as IP address) to provide security and content delivery. We also load web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts.

4. Third parties

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate, which may process limited data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare. Website security and delivery.
  • Google Fonts. Web font delivery.
  • Apple, App Store distribution (subject to Apple's own privacy terms).
  • Payment providers. Used only if you purchase a paid feature, to process payment.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep contact form submissions until the relevant product launches and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to remove you.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To do so, contact us using the details below. To leave a waitlist, email us and we'll remove you.

7. Children

Our products are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
